    How can you make a difference? 
    UNICEF China Child Protection Programme supports the Government of China in developing and implementing child protection and welfare related laws and policies, in line with international standards, and in strengthening of the capacity of government institutions at national and subnational level to provide child protection services, including in the justice system. This also includes support to capacity development in child-friendly justice of the justice workforce, such as judges and prosecutors. 
    1. Compilation and analysis
    Compile, analyse and summarize information on community rehabilitation and restorative justice (e.g., laws, policies and standards, practice).
    1. Translation
    English to Chinese translation of training materials for prosecutors and judges on child-friendly justice.
    To qualify, you are
    • A university student at undergraduate [1] or graduate level with a major in law, preferably in criminal law / criminal procedures law, human rights or international law.
    • Fluent in English and Chinese
    • Skilled in using computers and standard software
    • Available and motivated to work for protecting the rights of every child for 6 weeks this summer
    Previous volunteer/intern experience is desired but not necessary.
